Culvert repairs forcing the closure of Indiana Street have wrapped up ahead of schedule, much to the relief of motorists who use the busy stretch between Arvada and Boulder County.

Plans had called for the street to be closed through Friday, but Indiana, between West 120th and West 96th avenues, will reopen at 9 p.m. Tuesday night, according to Jefferson County officials.

The street typically handles 17,000 vehicles a day in the area of the newly completed work zone.
