Investigators are seeking the public’s help in finding a bank robber dubbed the “Sticky Finger Bandit.”

Police suspect the same man in three robberies, one in November in Wheat Ridge and two on Friday in Arvada. In one of the incidents, the robber had wrapped adhesive bandages around his fingertips.

The robber, who has not shown a weapon, gives a threatening note to a teller and flees on foot. He wore a wig in one of the incidents.

The first robbery was about 12:50 p.m. Nov. 15 at FirstBank, 4390 Wadsworth Blvd., according to a news release. On Friday the U.S. Bank at 9590 W. 58th Ave. was robbed about 4:30 p.m., and a Wells Fargo at 7878 Wadsworth Blvd. was robbed about 5:20 p.m.

The robber is described as a white man between ages 20 and 25, about 5-foot-7 with a thin to medium build.

The Wheat Ridge and Arvada police departments, and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe
Streets Task Force are investigating.
