
After more than a half a century of walking down the same “Yellow Brick Road,” British icon Elton John is saying goodbye to touring.
John, 70, announced his farewell tour on Wednesday, a three-year circuit that will take him to more than 300 shows around the world, including one in Denver.
Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour” comes through the Pepsi Center on Feb. 7, 2019. Tickets to the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 2, 2018 Mountain Time via . An American Express pre-sale goes live at 10 a.m. Jan. 25. Ticket pricing was not available at press time.

Elton John last played Colorado in 2017, when he sold a record amount of tickets at Colorado Springs’ Broadmoor World Arena.
“I’ve been touring since 1969 as Elton John, and there’s been one constant thing since then, and that’s you guys out there,” John said . ”When we go home, we’ll be talking about you. You give us adrenaline.”
