Re: “Denver-based Liberty Oilfield Services kept workers on during downturn, and itap paying off now,” Jan. 26 business news story.

We’re lucky to have a company like Liberty Oilfield Services in Colorado. The oil and gas industry gets a lot of flak for a variety of reasons, but a story thatap not told as frequently as it should be is the high quality of people who work in the industry, and in the case of Liberty founder Chris Wright, the excellent leadership he brings to the sector. Even during the oil and gas downturn, Wright invested in his people, and look at how it paid off. We could use more companies like Liberty that take care of their employees, work to minimize their impact in the field with things like making fracking fleets quieter, and push innovation.

I appreciate The Denver Post showing us this positive story, especially in light of all the negativity that frequently surrounds this industry.
