Corning has been tracking toward the Olympics since he burst onto the scene as a junior, winning all nine events he entered at age 13. After dominating big air and slopestyle performances at Copper and Breckenridge in December, Corning was the first snowboarder to win nomination to U.S. Snowboarding’s Olympic slopestyle team. The 18-year phenom joins Silverthorne’s Red Gerard and Kyle Mack on the second-ever Olympic slopestyle team and any one of the mighty trio has the chops to win Olympic gold.
