The Littleton Police Department are investigating a suspicious death that occurred on the block of 500 West Caley Avenue early Tuesday morning.
Dispatch received the call around 3:30 a.m. with a report of a single-vehicle crash. A yellow Toyota FJ Cruiser had struck a vehicle in a resident’s driveway.
Authorities found the driver of the Toyota dead from a gunshot wound.
Cmdr. Trent Cooper with the Littleton Police Department said there’s a possibility it could have been a suicide. There was no indication the driver was impaired by drugs or alcohol.
