Re: “Trump suggests he and governors would’ve rushed Florida school during shooting,” Feb. 26 news story.
Itap hard to picture Donald Trump rushing into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, especially if unarmed, to stop the slaughter, as he claims he would have. He was the guy who got a deferment from the draft because he supposedly had bone spurs on his feet. If he wasn’t up to charging the enemy back during the Vietnam War, itap unlikely that in his 70s he’d be anything but a slow-moving, easy target.
I sure hope he doesn’t use his newly discovered heroism to act as recklessly during an international crisis.

Itap difficult to picture the president running into a school unarmed to save students from a man firing an AR-15 when he cowed to conservative senators after stating compassionately his support of DACA children. Lacking political courage demonstrates the opposite of heroism, which is the willingness to sacrifice your life for others.
