One person was killed in a two-vehicle traffic crash in northeast Denver on Tuesday night, and another person fled the crash scene on foot.
Officers caught a suspect — the person who fled — a short time after the fatal crash, according to police.
The crash happened at about 9:20 p.m. on Quebec Street near the intersection with Interstate 70. Quebec Street was closed in both directions by the crash. An on ramp from Quebec to eastbound I-70 also was shut down.

Multiple emergency response vehicles rushed to the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
