The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after a 17-year-old inmate at the Mount View Youth Services Center in Lakewood scaled a perimeter fence Monday, escaping the facility.

Marcos Arredondo has two cases pending in Denver and Boulder for aggravated robbery, according to a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Arredondo also has a pending escape charge in Arapahoe County.

Anyone with information on Arredondo’s whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office tip line at 303-271-5612 or the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.

Anyone who spots Arredondo should call 911, authorities said.
