The Stateline Fire, a 27,658-acre blaze that spans areas of Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma, is now 50 percent contained.

The fire is burning 10,750 acres in Las Animas and Baca counties, down from 10,960 acres, according to the New Mexico State Forestry. New Mexico has 16,898 acres in flames while Oklahoma has 10 acres burning.

The fire started in New Mexico Thursday morning, spreading to Colorado over the weekend. It is being fueled by piñon, juniper, oak and grass. Multiple agencies, including some from Colorado, are fighting the flames.
