As average single-family home prices around Denver cross the $500,000 line, Dream Finders Homes has some good reasons to come preview its new neighborhood at Brighton Crossing, 4 miles east of Brighton’s historic downtown.
You can preview the roomy Summit ranch model a week before its official grand opening. It has over 2,500 finished square feet, including some recreation space finished in the basement, and you could still order one today, with a three-car garage included, at presale prices from $415,990.
“They’re dumbfounded at these prices,” says Dream Finders director of sales Jeff Lopez of homebuyers who venture to Brighton after exploring comparable ranch products in new home areas farther west. That price of $415,990 is a real one that will deliver a home on a lot with no premium (those are still available), providing you opt for standard finishes. The price includes the three-car garage and a finished area in the basement.
Meanwhile, Dream Finders is a builder that will tempt you to reach for your personal ideas and preferences.
“We’re not your tract builder; we often say yes when other builders say no,” Lopez adds.
On that Summit ranch, you’ll see a great room under a high tray ceiling that has eight coffers, but you could order it with four, or two, or a single large tray.
In back, you’ll walk out to a large covered patio with a fireplace — features that you could do as shown or with just a partial covered area.
If you choose to order pretty much everything you see, Lopez says you could re-create the home including the extensive hardwood floors, with a finish of the basement space to total out at five bedrooms, 3-1/2 baths, plus additional storage space, and still come in under $650,000.
Lopez points up the new look of Brighton, getting an infrastructure that will support an attractive residential future.
Brighton Crossing’s older pool and park across from the model is being torn out for a new Venture Park with workout facility, pool and slides, baseball-soccer field, and a dog park, not far from where 27-J schools has a site for a new elementary.
“Omigosh, this is going to be the next place to be,” he adds, noting that Brighton’s commuter situation dovetails perfectly with the reach of the E-470 beltway — east to DIA or west into Broomfield and Boulder County.
If you like the looks of this, Dream Finders has a Yukon two-story home, four bedrooms, three baths and over 3,000 square feet thatap ready to deliver now at $539,990, with a fenced lot and a three-car garage included. All these homes come on larger lots than you’re used to seeing in other areas — averaging 65-by-110 feet, with a few sized to a quarter acre.
If arriving from Denver, take I-76 northeast past the Bromley Lane exit, to Exit 25/Lochbuie and turn west on East 168th a mile to South 50th Avenue, and turn south a block to Cherry Blossom. Or from the west, take Highway 7 (Bridge Street) east through Brighton, 3 miles to 50th and turn north.
