Yes, everyone’s favorite 1970s English prog rock group, is hitting the road this summer.
What? That’s the name of the band –“Yes.” I know, it’s confusing.
All you have to know is that yes, Yes is coming to Denver’s Paramount Theatre on June 11. Tickets to the show are $49.50-$99.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 30 on .
Yes has gone through several lineup changes through its five decades of musical service. When bassist Chris Squire died in 2015, it left the band’s current iteration — guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White, keyboardist Geoff Downes, vocalist Jon Davison and multi-instrumentalist Billy Sherwood — without any of its founding members. But if you like Yes, this is about as close as you’re going to get.
“Much has changed since I joined Yes in 1970, but the core elements of the band have remained consistent,” Howe said in a release. “We want to mark this anniversary with a tour that encompasses some of our best-loved work and revisit a few classic pieces that have been lost for a while.”
