Members of the Colorado Department of Corrections’ escape team have apprehended an inmate who allegedly walked away from a minimum security level prison Sunday.

Members of the escape team and Fremont County law enforcement聽 took Robert Roberts, 22, into custody about 12:19 p.m. Tuesday at the Parkdale Quarry, which is just outside of Ca帽on City, the department of corrections said.

Roberts, who was serving an 18-month sentence for forgery out of Fremont County, was scheduled to be released July 23, the Department of Corrections said.
