Almost 40 girl scouts, from a different Colorado troops, and their troop leaders delivered thousands of packages of free Girl Scout cookies to veterans and staff at the Denver VA Medical Center on April 2, 2018 in Denver, Colorado. Making the world a better place is central to the Girl Scout mission. The cookies were purchased as part of Girl Scouts’ Hometown Heroes/Gift of Caring program. Girl Scouts of Colorado is 32,000 strong, more than 22,000 girls and 10,000 adults who believe in the power of every G.I.R.L or Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader.
