Drivers using Interstate 25 through the Denver Tech Center may experience delays during overnight hours, as crews resurface the highway between Belleview Avenue and C-470.

Work on the 5-mile segment began this week and will continue through the end of the year. Work hours will be from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and motorists should expect various lane closures on northbound and southbound I-25 as the project proceeds.

A speed reduction to 55 mph will be in place during work hours, the Colorado Department of Transportation announced. Weekend and daytime work may occur as needed.

The $11 million overlay project will include bridge-deck, expansion-joint and median-barrier repairs and installation of new overhead signs approaching C-470.
