An ammonia leak is to blame for the evacuation of Denver’s Seattle Fish Company and surrounding businesses Tuesday morning.

No injuries have been reported, according to Denver Fire spokesman Greg Pixley.

The leak, which the fire department announced around 11:30 a.m., happened at 6211 E. 42nd in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood.

As the ammonia dissipates, businesses in the area will remain evacuated. Pixley said there’s no way to tell how long this process could take.
