The Nuggets season is over, following a 112-106 overtime loss in Minneapolis. However, a popular opinion across social media seems to be that the Nuggets have reason to complain over some poor officiating down the stretch.
The key play came with 4.4 seconds left in regulation and the score tied when the ball was inbounded to Nuggets’ center . As he faded toward the corner, he turned to shoot, but had the ball stripped away by the Timberwolves’ Taj Gibson. A number of commenters felt Gibson fouled Jokic on that play, and on a number of other plays down the stretch in what was a physical game.

I really hate that home cooking is the expectation and not the exception. Would the Nuggets still have lost if Gibson had rightly been called for this foul, fouled out, and Jokic went to the line for 2 free throws? Maybe so.
But maybe not, and it sucks that we'll never know.

lol Butler got all the star calls, while Jokic only had 4 FTs, Taj fouled him every single time and we was fouled on almost every 3pt or mid range shot, if it was Harden he'd have a 20 FT night. KAT fouled Murray (stepped on his shoe), no call.
