Dove Valley will be a bit more crowded during Week 2 of the preseason.
The Denver Broncos and the will hold joint practices Aug. 15 and 16 at Dove Valley. Those practices will lead to their preseason game at 7:05 p.m. Aug. 18 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
It is the fifth straight year the Broncos have had a joint preseason practice, and 10th overall. Denver has conducted practices with the San Francisco 49ers the last three seasons. Last year, the joint practices were in Santa Clara, Calif.
A few familiar faces will be in town for the affair. Former Broncos wide receiver and linebacker are on the Bears’ roster.
