The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has two suspects in custody as it investigates two separate homicides that occurred Saturday.

The sheriff’s office released limited details about the cases, saying the investigations for both are ongoing.

The first homicide happened at about 2:10 a.m. on Lipan Street north of West 70th Avenue. A suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of second-degree murder.

Then, just before 4:30 p.m., another homicide occurred on Broadway north of Colorado 36.

The sheriff’s office was not looking for additional suspects.
