Tebowmania collided with the ‘ Double-A affiliate, as and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies wrapped up a three-game series against the Hartford Yard Goats on Wednesday.

In the series, the former Broncos quarterback went 2 for 7 from the plate, walked once and struck out three times. On the season, he’s batting .244 with three home runs and 12 RBIs in 26 games.

The Yard Goats have been drawing an average of 4,511 per game to Dunkin’ Donuts Park, , but against Binghamton, they averaged 6,646.

“Having Tebow here drew a few more people, more attention,” Yard Goats outfielder Sam Hilliard said to the Courant. “It was interesting to see the kind of crowd he drew, people who came out to watch him, it was nothing but fun.”

The Yard Goats took two of the three, winning on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hartford has won seven of its last eight.
