A person was shot Tuesday evening in Parker in a road rage incident, police said.
The shooting happened at about 5:25 p.m. at Parker Road and E-470, near Parker Adventist Hospital.
Police are currently investigating a road rage incident resulting in a shooting at Parker Road and E-470. There is heavy police presence and please avoid the area. One victim was transported to a local area hospital with an injury. More information to follow.

Police were searching for the shooter in the incident, on Tuesday night. Officers were looking for an extended-cab, dark gray or black pickup truck with dark-tinted windows in connection to the shooting. The suspect fired several shots from the passenger side of the suspect vehicle, police said.
