The most popular autographed jersey in an for doesn’t belong to anyone on the team.
In fact, the name on the jersey doesn’t even belong to a football player.
It’s Taylor Swift’s.
The pop singer’s jersey has more bids and is commanding more money than linebacker Von Miller’s #58 or quarterback Case Keenum’s #4 combined.
At least those guys have jerseys people want to buy. Swift signed a #13 jersey, and that number now belongs to Bryce Bobo, a rookie wide receiver from the University of Colorado. There are zero Bobo autographed items in the auction.
The Broncos made the jersey for Swift in May when her , said Seth Medvin, a team spokesman. She signed it for the team to auction to raise money for its charities.
Medvin pointed out that Broncos fans have multiple opportunities to get Miller to sign memorabilia.
“I don’t know if we’ll ever have another Taylor Swift jersey,” he said.
There’s no word on how Miller feels about the jersey disparity. But he probably should just “Shake It Off.”
