A serious injury car crash sent six people to the hospital Sunday, according to the Denver Police Department.
The crash occurred at Federal Boulevard and Interstate 70 shortly before noon, according to a police tweet. Denver police spokeswoman Marika Putnam said two cars were involved in the crash. She did not have information about what led to the crash and the status of the people injured.
Southbound Federal Boulevard was temporarily shut down at I-70. It reopened at about 1:30 p.m.
