After being swept by the Dodgers on Sunday, the Rockies are about to get a reprieve: They're going on the road.

Colorado's home woes continued as they dropped to 11-16 at Coors Field. As reporter Patrick Saunders points out, the Rockies "have not had a winning homestand this season. The club’s overall ERA at home is 5.93, easily the worst in baseball."

How are they doing on the road? They're 19-13 with a 3.63 ERA. The problem is, the Rockies' bats have struggled to complement the pitching. Colorado hitters are batting just .215 away from Coors Field with a .290 on-base percentage and a .364 slugging percentage.

Despite these struggles, they're still somehow just 1.5 games out of first place behind the Arizona Diamondbacks. The National League West is attainable -- Patrick breaks down six things the team needs to do to win the division crown.

While setbacks such as injuries to David Dahl and Adam Ottavino certainly don't help, at least some of their bats are starting to heat up. Ian Desmond and Carlos Gonzalez have seemingly broken out of their early-season slump, batting .333 and .407, respectively, over the last seven games.
