Where is going to play next season? How about in Denver?

Speculation about where the 33-year-old Cavaliers superstar will go this offseason has ranged from joining the up-and-coming Philadelphia 76ers to the contending to even the defending champion . But on Wednesday’s episode of “The Hastings and Browman Show” on Altitude AM 950, former Nuggets guard .

“He’s going to look at Denver,” Boykins said. “… He’s going to talk to (Nuggets president of basketball operations) Tim (Connelly) and he’s going to say, ‘If I sign here, what moves are you going to make? What’s going to be left if I decide to sign here.’ The Nuggets have the young pieces that LeBron wants around him.”

Among those young pieces is 23-year-old center .

“He (James) likes Jokic because he’s big and he can shoot and can handle the basketball and can pass,” Boykins said.

Boykins added that if the Nuggets can sign Jokic to a long-term deal, the chances for Denver to sign James rises to 35 to 40 percent. However, adding James would come at a cost.

“Whoever gets LeBron, you’re going to have to reconstruct your whole roster. Your team won’t be the same,” Boykins said. “… If LeBron comes here, you’re going to have to give up or . … it’s going to be a sign and trade. Wherever he goes, it’s going to be a sign and trade. LeBron wants money.”
