A 46-year-old woman was killed Saturday evening when she was run over by a tractor in southern Boulder County, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened at about 6:18 p.m. in the 30 block of Barcelona Drive. Details of the incident were not yet available.
Firefighters and medical personnel from Rocky Mountain Fire Department, Louisville Fire Department, Lafayette Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded and rendered aid.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, was found unconscious and not breathing. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Boulder County coroner investigator and sheriff’s detectives are investigating, although foul play is not suspected at this time, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
