COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The destructive hailstorm that swept through the Colorado Springs area Monday has taken its toll on Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and now officials are reaching out for help.
The zoo has set up a to help with clean-up and relief. Those wanting to donate can select an amount between $10 – $1,000 and pay with a credit card on the .

The Monday afternoon storm injured 14 people and killed two zoo animals — a 13-year-old Cape vulture named Motswari and a 4-year-old Mucovy duck named Daisy.
Softball-sized hail also smashed the skylights of several buildings and damaged hundreds of vehicles in the zoo’s parking lot.
