Two injured in shooting in southwest Denver

Police did not identify a suspect Saturday night

Two people were injured in a shooting Friday night in southwest Denver, police said.

Denver police responded about 10 p.m. Friday to the 200 block of South Eliot Street in Valverde, near the intersection of Federal Boulevard and West Alameda Avenue.

Two people were transported to the hospital with injuries. Both victims were adult males. Information about the severity of their injuries was not available Saturday, a police spokesman said.

Police continued to investigate the shooting Saturday. No further information was available, a spokesman said.
