A pedestrian was killed Thursday night in southwest Denver when hit by an RTD light-rail train.
The collision happened about 9 p.m. in the area of West Bayaud Avenue and South Santa Fe Drive, according to Denver police.
Officers are on-scene @ W. Bayaud Ave & Santa Fe, in regard to a fatal Light Rail/Pedestrian accident. Traffic in that area is closed and the H-Line of RTD Light Rail is shut down.

The H-Line was shut down, and motor-vehicle traffic in the area was rerouted. The victim was not identified.
An investigation is ongoing.
