More than 20 job fairs, free training and employment events slated for September in Denver

The Denver Office of Economic Development will play host to more than 20 job fairs, free training and workshops in September to help area job seekers find new career opportunities. The are part of Workforce Development Month.

“Back-to-school season is also a great time to go back to work, or to join the job market for the first time, and we are offering a wide range of events and programs to help every job seeker feel welcomed and encouraged in today’s hiring marketplace,” said Tony Anderson, director of the office’s Denver Workforce Services.

The calendar includes special pre-employment and job search programs designed for veterans, older workers, youth and job seekers focusing on industries such as health care and technology. Details of all the free events are available at .
