Before Colorado can celebrate Rocktober, the Rockies need to make it through September.
There are just 14 home games left this season for fans to cheer on Chuck Nazty, the homering Trevor Story and the rest of the gang — starting tonight. Who knows, that could also mean 14 chances at seeing some history.
Sept. 7-9, the Rockies will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. Sunday will also see the Los Rockies jersey promotion to the first 10,000 fans.
The action continues through Thursday, Sept. 13, with a four-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Show up hungry, because Thursday also features the $1 hot dog coupon deal for the first 10,000 fans.
The month will close out with a four-game series against the Phillies Sept. 24-27 and the final series of the regular season against the Washington Nationals Sept. 28-30. Friday, Sept. 28 will be the fan appreciation fireworks.
