Aurora police have identified a 47-year-old man as a suspect in an officer-involved shooting that happened last week, authorities say.

An Aurora SWAT team member shot Martin Lobatos-Realzola on Sept. 5 in the 2200 block of North Fairplay Street, according to a news release sent Thursday by Officer Kenneth Forrest, Aurora police spokesman.
Lobatos-Realzola remains in stable condition and in police custody at an area hospital, the news release says.
At about 5:15 p.m., Aurora SWAT officers responded to a domestic violence call. Lobatos-Realzola was allegedly armed when officers arrived at the residential home, according to police.
One officer fired his gun and struck the suspect with a bullet.
No Aurora police officers were injured during the confrontation.
The case has been referred to the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
