The sun will be out but it will still be chilly Tuesday after a cold front swept over the Rocky Mountains and into the Denver metro area.
The low Tuesday dipped to 37 degrees at Denver International Airport, where Denver’s official weather records are kept, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
It’s so cold in the mountains that it began to snow at Berthoud Pass.
“No accumulation expected but a sign of the changing seasons,” the NWS says.
There’s a frost warning in place for northeast Colorado.
The warmest it will get Tuesday will be 67 degrees. Chilly breezes gusting up to 18 mph are expected, the NWS says.

On Wednesday, it will will be slightly warmer, with a high temperature of 74 degrees. By Thursday Denver will be back up to 80 degrees.
Another cold front Friday is expected. The high temperature will be 67 degrees.
This weekend it will be warmer, with highs of 77 degrees on Saturday and 83 on Sunday, the NWS says.
