Grant Humphreys Haunted Mansion Party
Oct. 26, 8:30 p.m.

What better place for a Halloween party than a mansion from 1902 near Cheesman Park, ? An $85 ticket includes free drinks and snacks, three floors of party, coat check and entry into the costume contest with $500 in cash prizes.
Spooky Speakeasy
Oct. 26 at 9 p.m.
1701 Wynkoop St., Denver
Union Station is about to get spooky. The Terminal Bar’sSpooky Speakeasy will return to the lower level Gallery Bar with scary movies, Halloweendécor, music by DJPhanatik, cocktails and a costume contest with prizes. The contestap grand prize is a one-night stay at The Crawford Hotel and a $100 gift card to Union Station. The best part? No cover.
Denver Halloween Costume Ball
Oct. 27, 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, 1550 Court Place
This spooky ball in the heart of downtown will feature a $1,000 prize for the costume contest where costumes will be judged on creativity, presentation and originality (so bring your A-game to this one). The event features DJs mixing Top 40, dance, hip-hop and more. Multiple cash bars will be scattered around the party shaking up cocktails, martinis, margaritas and more for $8. Tickets start at $40.
Paranormal Palace
Oct. 27 at 8 p.m.
McNichols Civic Center Building, 144 W. Colfax Ave., Denver
With more than 50 performers, thousands of costumed guests, live music and DJs, Paranormal Palace has been one of Denver’s top Halloween parties, selling out all eight years. As of Oct. 23, there were 63 tickets left for the 10th anniversary bash. Held inside the McNichols building, the party goes all out with decorations and hosts a $5,000 costume contest and open bar with proceeds going to charity. Tickets (alcohol included) are $69-$119.
Halloween at TheStanley
Oct. 27 at 8 p.m.
333 Wonderview Ave., Estes Park
The ultimate Halloween location in Colorado, the historic haunted Stanley Hotel, is back with the Masquerade Ball: “Thriller Night” with live music by Michael Jackson Tribute band Who’s Bad inside the 110-year-old concert hall. That also means dancing, drinks, food and crazy costumes. Tickets are $119 per guest.
Area 54thirtyHalloween
Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.
1475 California St., Denver
Denver’s highest open-air rooftop bar is transforming intoArea 54thirty this Halloween for a sci-fi-themed party that will include a costume contest, live music, cocktail specials and more. Entry is free, and thefirst place winner of the costume contest will receive a complimentary one-night stay atwitha $100 food and beverage credit and bottle of champagne.

Boo at the Zoo
Oct. 27 and 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Boo at the Zoo offers trick-or-treat stations, animal demonstrations and family-friendly entertainment set beneath the foliage inside the zoo. The event is included in zoo admission, $14 for children, $20 for adults.
Navajo Street Trick-or-Treat
Oct. 31 from 5-9 p.m.
Between 36thAve. and 37thAve. in Denver
Good new for residents of the Highland neighborhood: You won’t have to go far for this Halloween bash. The Navajo street businesses in LoHi are coming together for the first Navajo Street Trick-or-Treat, a night the release said will include “treats from the neighborhood’s businesses in a friendly community environment.” Ghouls and goblins can expect hot chocolate from Pinwheel Coffee, candy and scary movies at The Bug Theater,Jell-O shots for parents at Acova and more.
Boo n’ Brew
Oct. 27 from 1-4 p.m.
between Josephine and Colorado Blvd.
At another end of town, theBluebird Business Improvement District along Colfax will celebrate its 12thHalloween with the annualBoo n’ Brew. The event will happen in two parts if the ‘rents want to have a babysitter swing through and grab the kids so they can keep the party going.From1-4 p.m., the area street will become a family-friendly block party with 30 business participating in trick or treating, live music, pumpkin decorating, face painting and food and drink specials. Then starting at 6 p.m., adults can carry on with a bar and restaurant crawl.
