Fort Collins police are investigating the cause of a fire in which one person was killed in a townhouse early Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
The name, age and gender of the victim has not been released. A second person was injured in the fire. That person’s condition is not known.
Poudre Fire Authority firefighters responded to the fire at 3219 Sumac St., according to a fire bulletin.
Several animals were rescued from the apartment.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
