A 24-year-old Lakewood man has been arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide while under the influence of drugs or alcohol in the death of his 27-year-old brother, police said.

Sean Alan Troxler was driving near the intersection of West Alameda Parkway and South Foothills Drive at 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday when he crashed, according to a Lakewood police news release.

Lowell Troxler was thrown from the vehicle and was hit by a car during the crash, the news release said. He was later pronounced dead.

“Alcohol and drugs are both suspected to have played a factor in the incident,” the news release said.
