The United States Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday that it is prosecuting the owner of a Lyons-based pharmacy for illegally distributing prescription drugs.
A news release states that Mary Aronson, a registered nurse and owner of St. Vrain Pharmacy, 440 Main St., is accused of illegally distributing amphetamine, the painkiller oxycodone and the anti-anxiety drug lorazepam between December and February.
Aronson faces 20 years in prison and a fine of $1 million if she is convicted.
