Denver sunbathers should get in as much sunshine as they can Monday because by Tuesday morning snow could be flying along the Front Range.
A cold front is headed for Denver.
The high temperature Monday will be around 80 degrees, but then temperatures will plummet, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
A wind change from a southwesterly to a northwesterly will usher in cold temperatures. The low temperature will be around 38 degrees early Tuesday morning, with wind gusts up to 24 mph.
Snow showers are possible early Tuesday morning. Rain is expected after 10 a.m. It could start snowing again in the afternoon, the NWS says.
Little or no snow accumulation is expected in Denver.
The snow could continue to fall on Halloween morning. There’s a 20 percent chance of snow before noon.

The high temperature on Halloween will be around 48 degrees, forecasters say. The low will be right at freezing at 32 degrees.
Rain could fall on Thursday as well, when the high temperature will be around 53 degrees.
High temperatures will range from the mid-to-upper 50s Friday through Sunday.
There’s a slight chance for snow Saturday night, the NWS says.
