A Frederick man accused of killing his wife and children, and then dumping them in a shallow grave and oil tanks, will make another appearance in Weld County District Court Tuesday for a status conference.
This will be the last court hearing for Christopher Lee Watts before he is scheduled for an arraignment, where he may enter a guilty or not guilty plea.
Watts, 33, is accused of killing his wife, 34-year-old Shanann Watts, and their two daughters, 4-year-old Bella and 3-year-old Celeste. Shanann Watts was also 15 weeks pregnant with a boy, who her family said would be named Nico.
Christopher Watts is charged with five counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree unlawful termination of pregnancy and three counts of tampering with a deceased human body.
