A-Line rail service to DIA to close for 24 hours this weekend for bridge work

Rail shutdown will run from 3 a.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday

The University of Colorado A-Line to Denver International Airport will suspend rail service on Saturday so that crews can complete work on a bridge at Central Park Boulevard.

The Regional Transportation District will provide shuttle bus service during the shutdown of the A-Line, which will be in effect from 3 a.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday. The line needs to be powered down during this time due to its high voltage and proximity to construction crews.

Bus shuttles will make stops at all A-Line stations and will run on a 15-minute frequency in both directions. RTD is suggesting that travelers plan on an additional hour of travel time between Union Station and DIA during the closure.
