After a stellar performance in the Broncos’ 23-22 win over the Chargers on Sunday, was honored on Wednesday as the AFC defensive player of the week.
Miller recorded a sack and an interception against and Los Angeles. The sack was the 100th in his career. It took him 121 games to reach the mark, fifth-fastest in NFL history.
This is Miller’s fourth defensive player of the week award, the most in Broncos history. He is the second Denver player to earn a weekly conference award this year, joining wide receiver , who was the AFC offensive player of the week in Week 7.
