Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope Inc., a federal government contractor that supplies building materials, has agreed to resolve allegations that it discriminated against white, black and female applicants at its Denver facility, according to a release Friday from the U.S. Department of Labor and Employment.

A compliance evaluation from the department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program found that between Jan. 21, 2013, to Jan. 20, 2015, the Dallas-based company was favoring male Hispanic applicants for loader and unloader positions and allegedly discriminating against white, black and all female applicants in Denver.

As part of the agreement, Oldcastle will pay $395,000 in back wages with interest and provide job opportunities as positions become available to the 38 white males, black males, and female applicants who regulators allege were discriminated against.

The company has also agreed to take steps to ensure its personnel and hiring practices comply with federal law. Oldcastle supplied glass for the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Aurora.
