Aurora police have not yet made an arrest after a man was fatally shot Saturday night in the parking lot of a Walgreens store.
Bystanders flagged down officers about 9:45 p.m. Saturday and told them about a man who had been shot, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department. Officers arrived minutes later at the pharmacy at 12051 East Mississippi Ave. and found a dead man in the parking lot.
Aurora police are investigating the death as a homicide and had no further updates Sunday morning, spokeswoman Crystal McCoy said. She confirmed the man had been shot.
The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the deceased.
