
A look at head-coaching changes throughout the NFL as teams begin to retool for 2019. (This will be updated):
FIRED
Dirk Koetter, Buccaneers: Koetter was fired Dec. 31, just hours after Tampa Bay’s loss to Atlanta. In three seasons, he compiled a 19-29 record, including a 5-11 mark in 2018.
Todd Bowles, Jets: New York fired Bowles on Dec. 31. Bowles, 54, was hired in January 2015 and compiled a 24-40 record in four seasons with the team.
Vance Joseph, Broncos: Denver fired Joseph on Jan. 1 after the head coach led the team to its first back-to-back losing seasons since 1971-72.
Adam Gase, Dolphins: The former Broncos offensive coordinator was let go by Miami on Jan. 1 after three seasons. Gase finished with a 23-26 record.
Marvin Lewis, Bengals: After 16 seasons, Cincinnati on Jan. 1 parted ways with Lewis, the second-longest tenured NFL coach behind New England’s Bill Belichick. Lewis led the Bengals to seven postseason appearances but never won a playoff game.
Steve Wilks, Cardinals: On Jan. 1, Arizona fired Wilks after a 3-13 season, the franchise’s worst record in 18 years.

Matt LaFleur, Packers: Green Bay turned to former the Titans offensive coordinator as its new head coach on Jan. 7, according to The Associated Press.
