A man was shot at the HardTimes Tavern in Commerce City on Thursday, police said.
About 2:30 p.m., Adams County deputies were called to the 7800 block of Newport Street on a report of a person suffering a gunshot wound, according to a news release. The gunshot victim, a man who was conscious, was taken to a hospital. Further details on his condition were not released.
An investigation determined that the victim had been at the HardTimes Tavern, 6771 E. 80th Ave., where he is believed to have been shot, police said. A telephone call to the tavern Thursday night was unanswered.
An investigation is ongoing.
