Denver Public Schools parents: The Denver Post wants to hear from you

Our reporter wants to speak with parents about the possibility of a strike

If district leaders at Denver Public Schools and the teacher’s union, the Denver Classroom Teachers Association, don’t settle on a new contract by Jan. 18, teachers in DPS could go on strike for the first time since 1994. Another round of negotiations are scheduled for Friday, but teachers in the district already are preparing for the possibility of leaving their classrooms in the name of fair wages and incentives.
