An officer-involved shooting in Frisco on Monday night is being investigated, authorities said.
The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the Whole Foods Market, 261 Lusher Court, according to a news release.
Officers responded to the market on a report of a person “acting erratically,” the release said. Police contacted the person in the parking lot of the store and at least one shot was fired by police.
No officers were injured. Police did not release any information on the person who was fired upon, other than to say that a suspect was in custody.
“With the suspect in police custody, there is no current threat to the community regarding this incident,” Police Chief Tom Wickman said in the release.
The officer-involved shooting is being investigated by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
No further information was released Monday night.
