Metro Denver will stay mild and dry Wednesday, while the mountains and foothills get a light coating of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs in Denver will reach around 51 degrees with mostly cloudy skies, forecaster says.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the mountains and foothills through Thursday morning. Light to moderate snow is expected, while winds of up to 50 mph are expected to create areas of blowing snow with reduced visibility, according to NWS.
Mountain areas could see accumulation of 1-3 inches.
Snow and areas of blowing snow over the mountains, mild and dry over the plains.
