Higher temperatures in Denver on Sunday will give way to snow showers and a low of about 22 degrees in the evening and cooler temperatures later this week, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday’s forecast called for a high of 54 degrees with wind gusts as high as 24 mph. Snow is likely to fall between 2 and 9 a.m. Monday, though accumulation is expected at less than half an inch. The wind gusts are likely to continue Monday with a north wind of about 6 to 15 mph and gusts up to 20 mph, according to the weather service.
During the day on Sunday, the mountains and northern foothills are expected to see windy conditions with snow blowing over some of the passes, according to the weather service.

The National Weather Service in Boulder tweeted a seasonal outlook for Colorado, particularly the northeast, predicting near to above average temperatures across the state and western United States. It also expects an increased chance of more than normal precipitation across Colorado between February and April.
No snow is yet predicted for the rest of this week in Denver, with high temperatures fluctuating between 40 and 53 degrees on Saturday, and lows between 12 degrees and 27 degrees,
