Investigators from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Denver man who they allege was trying to lure a child online in an attempted sexual assault while he already was free on bond on the same charges.

Sheriff’s officials allege Jason Bruener, 36, believed he was chatting online with a 14-year-old girl when he sent nude photographs of himself. Bruener allegedly asked for photographs of the girl and arranged a meeting, according to sheriff’s officials.
After arriving for the planned meeting, he was arrested on suspicion of internet luring of a child, internet sexual exploitation of child, criminal attempt sexual assault on child and violation of bail bond condition, according to a news release.
Bruener was free on bond in a Jefferson County case at the time of his latest arrest. He was charged Oct. 26 with internet luring of a child with intent to exploit and attempted sexual assault on a child. He was released on bond Nov. 26.
